2024/25 Singles - Preliminary Round

Apologies for the delayed post, but here is the preliminary round for Singles. Please consider that your opponent may not have this draw due to the late notice. So, please be prepared to rearrange at short notice. All captains have the fixtures and contact details for other teams.

2024/25 WINTER LEAGUE FIXTURES

Congratulations to Eagle B, Civil Service C and B. You have gained promotion to Division 1. Commiserations to Drakes and Westborough who have been relegated to Division 2.

Team changes - 'Drakes' are now 'Flower Pot A', 'Flower Pot' are now 'Flower Pot B', 'Lashings D' are now 'The Lashings', 'Westborough B' are now 'Victory A', 'Victory' are now 'Victory B', 'Westborough A' are now 'Westborough', 'Lashings.' are now 'Duke of Marlborough A', 'Duke of Marlborough' stay the same (the dot is purely for spreadsheet reasons)

Captains have PDFs if anyone needs them.

Vets and Captains Semi-Finals are set on the same day, but obviously can be rearranged if there is a clash.

Also, slow start to the new year with the Team Cup prelims on the first Monday, followed by a Rearranged Fixtures week. I wanted to ensure that league fixtures had at least 2-in-a-row so that there was a bit of continuity.

2023/4 Winter League - Final Results!

Congratulations to Century/Lashings Allstars and Eagle B for winning their respective divisions.

Runners up goes to Civil Service A and Civil Service C.

Presentation Night & Initial Fixtures for 2024 Summer Cup

A reminder that Presentation Night is @ Lashings on Monday 3rd June. The band Brothers From Another Cover have been booked to play some classics before and after the presentation.

Bear with me for the full fixture list, but so that you can make initial plans... First round of the Summer Cup is Monday 10th June and here are the opening fixtures.

It's 2 randomly drawn leagues. Everyone plays teams from their league just once, so 4 home and 4 away. Top 2 from both leagues go into the Summer Cup Semifinals. 3rd and 4th in both leagues go into the Matthew Bryant Memorial Cup Semifinals.

2023 Summer Cup Fixtures & Results

As I'm sure everyone is aware, the Consolation Cup last year was postponed indefinitely due to the sad passing of Matthew Bryant. The 2nd semi final has now been played and the final has now been set. The cup has now been renamed the "Matthew Bryant Memorial Cup". Here is the up-to-date grid.

Semi Final Venues

In the AGM this year it was agreed that all venues should have the opportunity to host semi finals, rather than a select few tables. I have drawn out of a hat the venues for semi final fixtures in all competitions bar Mixed Doubles. Nigel has a clash and will need to rearrange a fixture between either Bertie or Wags.

I am also aware that some venues may not be open on a Tuesday. I have messaged all Captains to check with their respective venues to reach out to anyone who's fixtures may be affected so that alternative dates can be agreed.
